Depending on which study you read, the divorce rate overall is stabilizing or going down. But not among the over 50 set. Maybe because we’re living longer, or because this is the first generation where families with two solid earners are commonplace, or because divorce is less stimatized than it once was…. Whatever the reason for it’s increasing prevalence, later-life divorce offers new challenges and complexities.
